Two things we instantly noticed in this Cody Simpson video: the way in which the 15-year-old knows exactly how to get the crowd fired up during his live shows, and his ability to stand alone on the beach, unfazed by the yucky, yucky boom-booms—also known as fireworks—going off behind him. Gotta love a (young) man with both carefree and protective sides to him. “Wish U Were Here” features upcoming female rapper/Dr. Luke project Becky G. and a lot of insight into what Cody likes to do with his free time, which we know true Simpsonizers can never get enough of. With bedroom jam sessions, underwater tea parties, and popcorn fights during private movie screenings, life on the road doesn’t look that bad—it actually seems pretty sweet. Girls, take note: Cody’s wardrobe of choice include white pants, tank tops, and blazers, and his stage show employs choreography you can definitely recreate in your bedroom (we’re already doing it here at Popdust HQ). It never hurts to study up on the man of your dreams; he’ll think the way you know every little detail about his daily routine is totally endearing, and not at all creepy—we promise! Watch below.
