The video for “Celebrate” really isn’t much but a trailer for Jordin Sparks’ upcoming movie Sparkle–which also stars Whitney Houston, whose last appearance on recording is this track. Thankfully, it’s a rather enjoyable track. Some things just don’t have to be overly complicated. Goes for the song; goes for its video as well. And it’s by far the most cheerful footage of Houston that you’re likely to see in the news.
That’s not enough of a reason to watch? About half the video, by runtime, is composed of dance scenes. That’s the proper ratio for everything.
